I don't see update on list under Parental Control setting. There is nothing there.

If you activate parental control, you or anybody else, needs to type a code to change any internet options.I don't see update on list under Parental Control setting. There is nothing there.
I wont buy it. The blue card is a R4i clone using Wood Firmware and the 'launcher' just changes something related to the DS Firmware (probably username or message to name a couple of strings, thats why shutting down the console or entering DS mode voids the "hack" as the 3DS reloads the DS firmware data when loading the emulator or power on the console...). The exploit is easily reversible with IDAPro and some DS tools + it doesnt work for anything 4.5+. A clone or probably a hack for any other flashcard (yeah DSTwo, I'm staring at you) is also possible, so I'll better wait.
I doubt that. Even if someone reverses the Gateway3DS patch and makes his/her own patch we would still need a second Flash Card to run the 3DS game, but that could be done with a programmable DS Flash Card (DSTwo for example) (even when It will need a custom Firmware). If it is reversed successfully, is it possible we don't even need that red card, just an any DS mode flashcart for installing that hack, and put 3ds games rom file on sdcard of 3DS console?
a guy posting this
is that possible?
new console are 4.2-4.5 (except pack animal crossing in 5.1) I have bought myself a white 3ds it was in 4.4 I have the 4.5 update in the games animal crossing I have four son soda (connects to a micro SD) to SD adapter I have copies the firmare 4.5 by connecting it to my PC with the software Win32DiskImager (full backup of the NAND firmware therefore included ) and I was then updated in 6.2 I now cover some firmware password 6.2 to 4.5 or vice versa enstuite I can always update and down .. the best of two world ... 4 welds are simple and very bighttp://www.3dbrew.org/w/images/thumb/2/22/CTR_NAND_pinout_XL.jpg/500px-CTR_NAND_pinout_XL.jpg

That's pretty dang complicated. Oops, I bricked my DSTwo. Oh, I fixed it! But the Gateway is screwed. Here comes the clones!
Then how do you expect the 3DS to recognize the games and launch 'em? Just think that the Red Gateway Card acts as a 1:1 copy of a 3DS game. Launching a 1:1 copy from a card that works almost like any 3ds game (the only difference is that the cart has a microSD memory as storage and not a ROM) is way easier than launching a .3ds file that will need some memory patches in order to correctly work (and probably some more work + we cannot run custom code yet, so that would mean no possibility to move the functions that read from the cart to custom ones). No need for a second flashcart. The Gateway 3DS cfw needs a second flashcart in order to make money...

i think that any chinese company can copy this red gateway very fast
I dont think any chinese companies will end up wanting to copy it since it likely will be patched fast by nintendo and then dead for good. Which isn't a horrible thing but it is for business if you're trying to grab a piece of an already very limited market.

I know it is difficult to create a cfw for the 3DS, but that is where all the leechers are, and the "scene" will be composed solely of pirates in the long term.
