Gaming Final Fantasy Versus XIII & KH III available for PS4!

Kingdom Hearts 3 is just a number. Because of Metal Gear Solid logic, the #3 doesn't automatically mean it must be a sequel. MGS3 was a prequel. We've had atleast 4 unique Kingdom Hearts games, 2 of which that took place after 2, since Kingdom Hearts 2, and anyone of them could have been called 3 just to shut the fan-boys up.

Whats more, as someone who has played Kingdom Hearts, Final Mix, Chain of Memories, 2, re:Chain of Memories, Final Mix 2, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, re:Coded, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Dream Srop Distance, I can tell you that I'm not excited that the trailer music is YET AGAIN Dearly Beloved, and that I've seen Twilight Town's scenery for the 5th, 6th, or 7th time, I've honestly lost count.

A new Kingdom Hearts game excites me because its another chapter to the story, not because theres a new number in the title. Also the trailer was a poor tech-demo for the PS4. You could of told me it was for the PS3, and I probably couldn't tell the difference and be just as equally as amazed.

Also its just lazy to call what was nearly a dead game in the 13-franchise under a new number. For one, I was highly looking forward to NEW Final Fantasy, with different world and different lore, but instead we get a reminder that the same tease-garbage from almost 8 years ago is still rearing its ugly head around, giving FF7 fanboys false-hope, like Vesus 13 was somehow supposed to be the best game ever and put a nail in the coffin of "ff sux" topics, that they-themselves wrote.

Am I the only person in the world who moved on from the Vesus hype? I garun-fukken-tee you people that Vesus AKA 15, is NOT going to be a game thats even worth half of the wait ETA you've suffered. Its not going to be that franchise-savior game you're hoping that will take you back to what you thought were better days.

Except you're naive if you really think that. 1st off being, its silly calling it the "Xehanort saga", because while chronologically he may have "always been there" but that fucker was only teased at the end of the THIRD game, and didn't get his rightful backstory until the FIFTH game. It took until 5 games, and several years later to show off Xehanort and who he really is. And 2nd off, the end of 3 doen't mean the end of side-stories and more prequels. Need I remind you that the secret ending video at the end of Birth by Sleep Final Mix mentioned a Birth by Sleep Volume 2. What if KH 3 doesn't cover that? then you already have all you need for yet another game.

And saying so-and-so is the end of so-and-so is just foolish. You don't know any more details than I do. Why bother claiming so-and-so when you could be wrong. People USED to think the secret video in KH1 was for KH2, when really it had more in common with 358/2 Days, and people speculated the secret video in KH2 was for KH3, when it was for something no-one saw coming, a prequel/origins story. The smartest thing you can say about the details of KH3 at the moment is "I don't know" Becausee people have been talking about KH3 since 2005, and it's only now announced/in development 8 years later.

I never owned a PS3, so I can't comment on the quality of FFXIII or anything in that realm. I've heard raving on both sides, but from what I've seen, I'm not impressed. Square Enix seems to be going away from turn-based games, but I love turn-based RPGs, whether they're FF-esque or more strategy-based, like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

I wish they never merged with Enix. The Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest/Warrior Monsters series have gone down in quality since.

Kingdom Hearts 3D and BBS redeemed the franchise for me and I hope to God the battle system is the same as those games(the menu based one is just too slow). If Flow Motion is back and there are even more cameos, KH 3 might be the best in the series.

Because my so-and-sos aren't about Kingdom Hearts 3, they're not saying what is or what isn't going to happen. My so and sos are about the history of Kingdom Hearts, or more acurately the history of Square, which is sequel milking crazy. As long as Birth by Sleep Volume 2 video goes unexplained, there WILL be another Kingdom Hearts game that fits within the stories of 1-3, and now thanks to Dream Drop Distance, where the series ultimate-badass is now apparently a fucking multi-being time traveler, then anything is possible with Xehanort.

Not that its officially confirmed (not re:coded), but Lightning cameo confirmed. I just confirmed it. If theres anything Square loves more than sequels, its its Lightning. The most over-exposed character since Sephiroth.

I'm giving one last chance for FF as I've enjoyed every game except I, II and XIII.
That said, I am hyped.
The more"explosive" footage they showed at Sony's E3 was likely just to show off the game's power and try to appeal to people outside the fanbase. I doubt they've scrapped all the gameplay they displayed in earlier trailers and SE still have their own conference to show more. [R-Right?]

Yeah, they are both coming to Xbox One. Not a big deal really, maybe Sony will snag some costumes exclusive DLC.
