I tried to use spayrosam's file manager to put a dvd iso on my fat32 hdd, but it gave me some error message. Not quite sure what I did wrong. So then I moved all my videos onto my ntfs partition, now nothing will play. Any help with either problem?
So is there something I missed, or can Mplayer not play anything on NTFS? Has anyone tried taking a crack recently at turning WiiMC into a plugin?I tried to use spayrosam's file manager to put a dvd iso on my fat32 hdd, but it gave me some error message. I have always used wiimc as my media player and would love to see it as a plugin too.
Can you tell us how you modded your Wii, what cIOS's and their bases you installed, what version of WiiFlow you are using and your hard disk size and format (NTFS, FAT32, WBFS etc) and if you are using real or emu NAND and the types of games (Wii, or other emulation games like NES, SNES etc).I just installed this on a new Wii, and I have a weird issue. When ever I try to open a game, the screen goes black, and the wii crashes. If I have a disc in the drive, it opens whatever disc is inside instead of then one I tried to open from the USB
I did, i have wiiflow loading my smashing pumkins cd's. ( coverflow). but as soon as i "click" to load Machina.Has anyone tried taking a crack recently at turning WiiMC into a plugin?
GC games run perfect from wiiflow..(for me.). I'm using DML.(usb not the sd version.). haven't updated at all since i got it running/loading. (2.1 or 2.3 can't remember what one i have.). no i DON'T have the disc. (got all my gc games from torrent sights.).Can anyone comment on the current state of running Game Cube games from WiiFlow. The last time I looked into it I thought the folks who were working on the emulator put it some copy protection mechanism where you had to have the original games. I'm seeing a lot of NGC games on other sites and was wondering if that has changed. TIA.
I just followed the complete softmod guide (with the advences steps, IOS236) and I'm using the latest version of WiiFlow. Hard drive is NTFS 149gb and I've been trying to run wii games. Can you tell us how you modded your Wii, what cIOS's and their bases you installed, what version of WiiFlow you are using and your hard disk size and format (NTFS, FAT32, WBFS etc) and if you are using real or emu NAND and the types of games (Wii, or other emulation games like NES, SNES etc).
Can you get to the WiiFlow menu where it lists the game covers?
A screen shot of the crash screen would be useful too.
Install base 56 in slot 249 and base 57 in 250 and that will run pretty much everything.I just followed the complete softmod guide (with the advences steps, IOS236) and I'm using the latest version of WiiFlow. Hard drive is NTFS 149gb and I've been trying to run wii games.
I can see the covers, choose the game, but when I press play, screen goes black
No need for a screenshot, if there is no disc inserted it's just a black screen. If there is a disc, it goes to the disc's "press start" screen
EDIT: And I think i just realized my mistake, I forgot to install cIOS
Cache file corruption and file deletion are completely different issues and deletion is a much more serious offender. I doubt that WiiFlow is the culprit, I was modding and gaming pretty hard last week and all my files are intact. I've been using r873 since it dropped and plan to update to r875 tonight.Ok, now I'm concerned. I recently got some PS1 covers downloaded and set up, and while renaming the covers, I noticed that at least two of the games that I KNOW I had have completely vanished off the hard drive. I've been using the recent revisions of Wiiflow, read about some possible HDD corruption, something to do with reloading the cache, but paid no mind to it. Now I'm more than agitated because my Sh!t is disappearing. Could Wiiflow be the culprit for making games that have been on there for months just vanish?
On a side note, just how hard is it to get individual settings per emulator working through wiiflow?
So it seems that my game loss is a more serious matter. Been thinking about running a syscheck on my drive, don't suppose that'll recover my games?Cache file corruption and file deletion are completely different issues and deletion is a much more serious offender. I just installed it, and WiiFlow still doesn't work, but now it's different. If there is no disc inserted choosing a game reboots the console instead of just going blackInstall base 56 in slot 249 and base 57 in 250 and that will run pretty much everything.
