I tried to use spayrosam's file manager to put a dvd iso on my fat32 hdd, but it gave me some error message. Not quite sure what I did wrong. So then I moved all my videos onto my ntfs partition, now nothing will play. Any help with either problem?

It doesn't seem to matter what N64 game I choose, it always loads the last game on my list. Even when I'm in the wii64 menu, and choose load game, it has a loading bar pop up and re-loads the same rom. What could be the issue?

Hi,
Many pages ago I posted about a code dump, but I could not get a picture of it. At last a new TV later and here it is.

I get this code dump using a cheap and cheerful Wii Classic Controller Pro when trying to start Mario Kart through WiiFlow:

FWIW I get 2 code dumps with CFG rather than a single dump here.

I can still use the Classic Controller Pro if I plug it in after Mario Kart has loaded.

I just installed this on a new Wii, and I have a weird issue. When ever I try to open a game, the screen goes black, and the wii crashes. If I have a disc in the drive, it opens whatever disc is inside instead of then one I tried to open from the USB

So is there something I missed, or can Mplayer not play anything on NTFS? Has anyone tried taking a crack recently at turning WiiMC into a plugin?
Also regarding Shortz's comment a while back, would there be some way to use Wiiflow's own internal music player to allow song selection from a coverflow?

Can you tell us how you modded your Wii, what cIOS's and their bases you installed, what version of WiiFlow you are using and your hard disk size and format (NTFS, FAT32, WBFS etc) and if you are using real or emu NAND and the types of games (Wii, or other emulation games like NES, SNES etc).

Can you get to the WiiFlow menu where it lists the game covers?

A screen shot of the crash screen would be useful too.

I did, i have wiiflow loading my smashing pumkins cd's. ( coverflow). but as soon as i "click" to load Machina.
It will load the main screen of wiimc.( just as if i made a channel.) so far all the "mp3 players will do this. so no idea if these mp3 players will take augments.

Can anyone comment on the current state of running Game Cube games from WiiFlow. The last time I looked into it I thought the folks who were working on the emulator put it some copy protection mechanism where you had to have the original games. I'm seeing a lot of NGC games on other sites and was wondering if that has changed. TIA.

Wiiflow can run GC games via Dios-Mios or Devolution. There is no AP or need for disc verification with DM.

@bostonBC, sorry bud didn't get my hands on Wii all weekend long. Between work and life.. Well and Super Bowl it was nigh impossible lol. Tonight though for sure I transferred some games this morning to HDD so I'll do a manual cache rebuild and see what happens.

Ok, now I'm concerned. I recently got some PS1 covers downloaded and set up, and while renaming the covers, I noticed that at least two of the games that I KNOW I had have completely vanished off the hard drive. I've been using the recent revisions of Wiiflow, read about some possible HDD corruption, something to do with reloading the cache, but paid no mind to it. Now I'm more than agitated because my Sh!t is disappearing. Could Wiiflow be the culprit for making games that have been on there for months just vanish?

On a side note, just how hard is it to get individual settings per emulator working through wiiflow?

I just followed the complete softmod guide (with the advences steps, IOS236) and I'm using the latest version of WiiFlow. Hard drive is NTFS 149gb and I've been trying to run wii games.

I can see the covers, choose the game, but when I press play, screen goes black

No need for a screenshot, if there is no disc inserted it's just a black screen. If there is a disc, it goes to the disc's "press start" screen

EDIT: And I think i just realized my mistake, I forgot to install cIOS :P

Install base 56 in slot 249 and base 57 in 250 and that will run pretty much everything.

Cache file corruption and file deletion are completely different issues and deletion is a much more serious offender. I doubt that WiiFlow is the culprit, I was modding and gaming pretty hard last week and all my files are intact. I've been using r873 since it dropped and plan to update to r875 tonight.

So it seems that my game loss is a more serious matter. Been thinking about running a syscheck on my drive, don't suppose that'll recover my games?

Maybe your better off with a file recovery program. Easeuse partition master has a feature like that, I use it often but I can't vouch for the file recovery since I've never used it for that. Give it a shot if u want I don't think u have anything to lose.
