After months of speculation, it looks like the cat is finally out of the bag. GameStop is handing out pamphlets and one of the pages has confirmed that the 4 co-op maps in the Hardened Edition are zombie maps from World at War.

The "Zombie Mode" could be played in Call of Duty: World at War after beating the single-player campaign. The mode takes you and up to 3 other players against zombies. The objective is to survive as long as possible as the zombie waves get harder and harder.

Let's hope that Treyarch can pull this off with style

damn $100
thats too much for me

Yeah, but they know there are the true 'hardcore fans' (for which you can probably read 'sheep') that are happy to pay whatever is asked so they can start on their latest Prestige Mode marathon to extend their E-wangs by getting a slightly better scope for their sniper rifle faster than their 'friends'. Case and point the kid across the road from me who would happily buy a bag full of sweaty dog shit if he thought he'd get achievement points for it.

Damn... I think I'll still buy the regular edition though, I don't think I'll want the old zombie maps if there's new ones!

Yeah, guys, don't worry, I think the wording implies that you only get 4 maps from World at War as a bonus, not the whole Zombie mode. The Zombie mode will be on every version most likely. It was a huge hit in World at War, so I wasn't the least bit surprised they're bringing back some version of it.

They're not gonna leave it out of the standard edition. The only thing they could do that'd be any more retarded than that would be to force you to play as a donkey with only two legs and severe diarrhea, off it's face on speed and towing an anvil.

Hope that the Wii version finally gets the zombie mode.
They can make the game with a double layer disc if the size is the problem, but will be good that the Wii version shouldn't be a trimmed version like before.

So I guess if you already bought the levels for W@W, they won't work on the Black-Ops game? That's a let down but I guess I'll just enjoy the new levels.

The last level of zombies made for W@W was amazing though.

YES!!!

This is probably the best news I've heard yet about the game. I played Zombies non-stop for a month or so back at the beginning of summer break, and throughout the summer all the map packs for WaW we're being released (2009), so this is awesome.

This and Halo: Reach are my most wanted games of the year. Halo: Reach is close, and this is soon after.

Zombies? HELL YEAH!

No art book? BULL SHIT!

Screw the medallion man, I've got enough metal junk around my house already.
