the hard part of this fight is over already, i'll manage. All the weird shitty assembly code is written, almost all the graphics are remastered, and all the tools are in working order... now it's just testing it out and getting the text in.
the game has nearly 10MB of text though, it will take a moment to chew through it all

Oh~~ Great Job ~~ (*^▽^*)

Well, you have my support here.

my youtube channel has some hours of random gameplay from the current build if you're interested. (it doesnt actually show THAT much english stuff though, a lot that has been done so far has to do with the starting scenarios that obviously are not shown here.)

Hypothetical Question: After you're done with this Project what will be your next venture in fan translation? or at least the ones that you really wanted to do?

For some reason seeing Zill O'll Infinite really reminded me of that PSP Exclusive Suikoden Game that never got released outside of Japan lol

havent really went that far yet... there's been a talk of a certain ps2 game.
There's also still utawarerumono portable that i have sitting fully hacked and 50% translated i need to get finished.
i have quite a list of things i want to do, but then again, i might just do nothing, it's not like it's a job or something :P

what's sure is once Zill o'll is done, i will sit on my lazy ass and play it instead of doing anything for a moment.

people may throw their wishes and requests at me all they want, i dont mind. I will hoever point out that you will be 100% ignored in my end regarding them.
there's 3 people i work for, those being I, myself and me.

here's another tiny clip of gameplay (even contains a tiny part in english we translated a long time ago!)

I will upload another a bit later that shows a couple more events from the game using the current build (not that much in english again though.)

i will start a new save and do some long ass recordings of the game when it's actually in english once we get to that point, look forward to it. :)

Hey bois,
it's been a while since i bothered to write anything anywhere about zill but i'ts definitely not been abandoned.
we're working pretty slow due to real life commitments but it's chugging along nonetheless...

today we succesfully implemented the dual audio tracks into the iso and once we get a menu coded for that, the soundtrack will be selectable in-game from the options
between the original psp soundtrack and the "retro" ps1 soundtrack.

the audio tracks both work perfectly already, but since there's no menu to switch it yet, it has to be done with a debugger.
i'll post a little video clip showing it off as soon as we get the menu entry done for it :)

chugga chugga woo woo bitches!

I wish it'd go faster as much as the next guy but as unfortunate as it is, we do have more important things to do in life than poke at this 24/7
also, writing assembly from scratch for non-existent features it's slightly time consuming :P

almost there bois ^^;

Awesome!!! Cant wait to see the finished patch!
By the way, hows magna carta portable coming along? I know a lot of guys including myself would enjoy it if only it were in english. I know theres a english version of the ps2 original so maybe it wont take that long?^^

Im not actively working on that at the moment.
It's a bit more work than "just drop text out of ps2 into it" anyway though.

Thanks for the prompt reply! I guess people like me who have no idea how that stuff works would be utterly clueless about the process. Still, im sincerely grateful for all the work youre doing for us !! And if mcp does make it into your agenda any time in the future, i'd be thrilled.☆-☆
