AFAIK there isn't any firmware updates on the disk itself.

Edit: I guess there is an update. I was spoofed to 5.5.1 so it didn't ask me and I had seen some other people say there wasn't an update. Either way, if you're spoofed you should be fine, or if you're not it will prompt you to update , but won't do it automatically.
