Hacking zelda PH - cheats- scds2

[Another World]

i'm doing some testing and i can not get cheats to load for zelda ph using the scds2. can someone confirm this for me and/or offer assistance.

Hmm... I just tested this out and I cannot get any of the cheats to display on the cheat page either. I believe the SCDS 2 is supposed to match up the game ID with the respective ID in the cheat database then display those codes, maybe the error occurs there?

that is exactly what happens on my end as well. cheats are working fine for other games i tested. i'm going to chalk this up to a firmware bug at this point. the same cheat database is working with the same rom on another flash kit.

Hmm... Unfortunately I am going to have to sleep soon. However, do you think its a character bug? I have seen so many bugs pop up (in other programs) with either invalid character uses or maybe a specific string of characters that the SCDS2 may be discarding. I'm going to open up the cheat file and see if I can pinpoint any trends!

EDIT:

It's definitely has something to do with the in-game real time cheating. You can activate codes before you enter the game (click X to see information, then Y to access cheats while hovering it's title/icon). I remember seeing that the cheating has got an update to it, I wonder if they forgot to update the in-game code handler?

I had the same problem with my undub The World Ends With You (it could be the fact that it's patched, of course).

Yeah, most likely that will be the problem in your case, because of the changed header. You can edit the database so the cheat file matches your game's header.
