the exploit works on any region game, but you can't run an eur game on a U console

it doesn't matter. it matters the region of the game! for example, i have an eur game and a usa console, can i run the eur game on usa console? NO! can i eun the eur game on jpn console? NO! can i run the eur game on eur console? YES!

oot3dhax will work just fine with your consoles if they're also European. You're doing exactly the right thing to downgrade.
