My PC can't run it and I have neither a Wii nor a Gamecube
Search for a used Wii, those can be real cheap. I managed to get one (console only) for 20 dollars including shipping because it was being sold for parts, the only issue was a dead disk drive.

I don't have my own money, my dad already bought me a PS3 as an early birthday gift and I don't like asking my parents to buy me stuff

Then we are the same, I don't like to ask my parents to buy me stuff but I do it sometimes since it's only way I can get things when I don't have money.

Ah, OoT, one of the greatest games of all time. What a trip it was to play that in the 90's. The hype was huge, and the final game delivered.

Memorable soundtrack, great set pieces, nice sense of freedom. The number of sidequests may have been low, but the main campaign rivaled its SNES predecessor nicely. The combat mechanics barely changed between games, until motion controls became a thing. They got it right the first time. I know development only took about a year or two, but I'm absolutely sure it was prototyped like crazy before the project officially began. The storyline was perfect, and it created side characters that made the experience more memorable.

The gigaleak even gave us some early layouts and prerenders of areas. Even the elusive (and shiny) Iron Knuckle from the earliest footage was found. I'm glad the dev team redid the Temple of Time in full 3D, since it was such an iconic location in the final. So much polish, I could talk for hours about the game.

Well, I played all Zelda games but BoW and ToK, as they are IMO no real Zelda games. Thanks to Nintendo and Virtual Console I could play them without owning all the consoles/handhelds. Never played any HD remakes.

Started with Windwaker, which I like for its graphics style, and next OOT, which is IMO the best Zelda storywise. Zelda II for NES is the most difficult.

I'm currently playing the Dragon Quest series I-XI for NES, DS, 3DS and Switch.

This would've been a really nice thread to follow if it didn't got quickly derailed by the unattended children on the forum.
Oh well...

I love Zelda, traditionally.
Don't own a WiiU nor a Switch and to be honest the following Switch 2 or whatever's gonna be called in the future doesn't appeal to me since it'll be another glorified underpowered and expensive tablet. So hard pass too.
That said, Zelda in my experience stopped at Twilight Princess and began with Link's Awakening.

In my experience, Ocarina of Time is by far the best Zelda game. Call it nostalgia, bias or whatever the fuck you want, but being there in the 90s, witnessing the jump from 16bit to 64bit was a huge experience for me. Being used to play Zelda in my Gameboy and later SNES and then seeing a huge world on the N64 was a wonderful experience that I haven't had with any other game, except maybe Super Mario Galaxy 2 back in 2010.

Majora's Mask is probably my least favourite Zelda game. It's short... repetitive and the music doesn't quite hit it for me.
I personally think that Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link is better than Majora's Mask.

Then Wind Waker came along and instantly fell in love with it too. Played it with my lil bro on his GameCube in 2003. Didn't owned the game up till 2005. Beautiful charming experience, that to be honest, is a bit too easy for a Zelda game. The late parts of the story felt rushed and boring though. But overall a good game. It would've been better if it didn't had the Triforce Pieces boring hunting part.

Twilight Princess on the other hand tries to get on pair with Ocarina of Time and I got the chance to play the GameCube original back in 2006 and later owned the Wii game in 2008.
It was good. The best music in a Zelda game and a good story. Decent amount of dungeons and lots of secrets to discover. The first time playing it whole was a really exciting experience. I've tried to replay it, but somehow I keep getting attracted towards Ocarina.

The last "modern" Zelda I played was Between Worlds, and it wasn't good for mee. Too easy, repetitive, unamusing, predictive... there wasn't a challenge for me to finish the game as I completed it in just 2 days. After that everything's kinda meh.

Zelda for me, is not the same. And even though at this point in time, I haven't anticipated or got excited for a new Zelda game, specially since Breath of the Wild which in y opinion isn't a Zelda game at all. It might have Link, Zelda and Ganon there, but it's simply not the same anymore.

Hopefully, Nintendo makes a proper 4K Unreal Engine, Traditional formula Zelda game with lots of dungeons, lots of sidequests and secrets and lots of old items. Nintendo is wasting the potential of a traditional Zelda game with today's graphical capabilities and sound technology.
Huge detailed environmets in a fantasy world with 3D sound would be an amazing experience for both old and new Zelda players.

IMO out of the 3D games Ocarina of Time has the best balance between linearity and freedom. It's straightforward to get to its first dungeon and lets you fuck around in the overworld after that without being a giant empty sandbox. Being able to fuck around with it even more after each upgrade is satisfying.

It has my favorite aesthetic too, which is being cartoonish with realistic touches, but not taken to the extreme like Twilight Princess. Hitting enemies and killing them also feels way more dark and gory than the other games thanks to the effects and sound design, even though it though it also lacks blood like all other Zeldas save for one occasion or two.

Also solid melodic tunes and good story pacing.

The other Zeldas I'm most fond of are Majora's Mask for being pretty much an iconic spin-off from OoT and Link's Awakening for being a magical experience altogether.

Almost 100% agree. I'd not put focus on 4K resolution (if we're imagining Switch 2 here) and I'd be careful not to make environments too huge for its own good.

Rude, the off-topic portion wasn't even inorganic or toxic

Hey, have a good time with those games. Dragon Quest deserves its reputation.

I know this is off topic, but I do recommend the original PS2 version of Dragon Quest VIII. It's the best way to experience that game. I can't not throw out the recommendation, since VIII is my favorite DQ entry and one of the best PS2 games.
