Hi I've been browsing this forum and haven't found the answer to my question but here it is. Is there any support yet in a ds emulator for microphone that is required in phantom hourglass or an option that lets you simulate the blowing off the fingerprint powder that you need to do with the 5th case in phoenix wright 1. hope this topic is not against the rules if so let me know thank you.

I don't know but apparently in No$gba it allows you to use your real microphone in the game.
i haven't confirmed it myself though...

On the bottom right of your screen, right click the little speaker and click Open Volume Control. Go to Options->Properties and click the Recording radio button, check Stereo Mix, raise the Stereo Mix bar all the way, and play a blowing sound effect.

(Stereo Mix just takes the output that would go to your speakers and uses it as input for a virtual microphone.

I do not have a problem. I can do it right away without a problem. Guess that my mic is perfectly fine every time. I done with any games that required mic without a problem.

On the ACTUAL cartridge of PW, sometimes it seemed that my DSL was having troubles hearing me shout "OBJECTION"... Not sure why, even to this day.

^ Happens to me too

But once I intentionally made a loud sound and the game registered it as an "Objection!"

Got a weird problem, I'm using no$gba 2.6a (yes I even paid for it). I'm stuck at the first Phoenix Wright game, when you have to blow dust off for a fingerprint. The mic won't recognize my blowing, or any sound for that matter.

What's weird is that I can play Wario Ware Touched just fine (Mike's minigames; many of them require blowing) but this Phoenix Wright just won't work.

If anyone can give me a save right after you blow the dust off, that'd be nice.

You blow dust off multiple times throughout the case, so a save won't solve your problem.
