So i got my Zelda 3DS. And its 10 times more awesome than i thought it'd be!
All the bits and pieces of it are golden

I fell asleep at 5,
Woke up SOMEHOW at 11,
Called the closest gamestop to me, like 2 miles
They said that they had it,
RAN THE FUCK OVER THERE,
Bought it and Mario 3D,
Came home, and pretty much oogled at how beautiful it is.
All in like an hour and half

I went to Gamestop at 5 am to get mine. I traded in my black DSi (Broken triggers, they didn't notice haha), and got the bundle for $120 ($80 off).

The store only had 5 of them, so I wanted to make sure I got it. I have an aqua blue one, so don't really need it at all. As amazing as it looks, I'm just keeping it in my closet un-opened.

It's a limited edition model, and I got a good deal on it. I could easily make money off it in the far future.

thats awesome, and even though i technically paid full price at the store for it, i sold my custom black and white ds lite to a guy for 75, before, so i got a pretty good deal too lol

Is it on the latest firmware? My DSTWO has been formatted to work on firmwares before the latest one after Mario 3D came out. I don't have anything to upgrade it again with so if it isn't on latest then i can't get this bundle....

I will have to buy them separately then. I can't get them in stores either anymore since there are greedy basturds who buy them when they already have one. I tried to get a TV for 80 bucks at BestBuy on black friday and this greedy basturd had 6 in his shopping cart so he nicked them all. They were 24 inch 1080p TVs too. A great deal but greedy people can't be happy with 1. I also have to wait until my bro pays me back the 305 he took from me because he needed it and I wouldve looked like an asshole if I didnt hand it over. Sucks too that was my 3DS money and extra spending money for my birthday this December....

Now I have to resort to online shopping. However I hope online BestBuy still has them in stock. They are offering free shipping until mid December so I should have money by then.

Still pissed off at people though especially this topic. Why would you buy one when you already have one? Dont you consider somebody worked their ass off saving money to maybe buy that 3DS? Wasteful really people buy what they dont need and its ALWAYS like that.

EB Games (owned by GameStop, apparently. Figures) over here in New Zealand have them and Super Mario 3D Land is included (although I think they racked the price up a bit because of that). I want one really badly but.... I already bought a blue launch 3DS. The only way I'm surviving without this is by telling myself that I like the blue better than the black (which is true) and that it isn't a completely gold 3DS like my Zelda GBA SP, so I'll be fine (for now, until they release a gold one). Damn, I wish I had Super Mario 3D Land though. Lucky bastard.

The zelda 3DS wasnt really a huge seller as some people made it out to be (you didnt need to go at 5AM in another words)
I was at gamestop on black friday and heard the employees asking how many units of "x" item was in stock, they said they had tons of 3ds bundles (both mario and zelda), they were out of the $200 ps3 bundle, staring to run low on the $150 xbox, higher priced ps3/360 bundles they still had plenty of, this was around 11AM

generally people who do that are looking to make profit or they are buying them for their whole family
those tv's were a doorbuster and were limited 1 per customer so im not sure how he would even buy them

Overall it makes me depressed. Not this but the basic. I had saved up a lot of money but it was taken....

I could have bought it ages ago but my parents never let me when I had the money then my brother took it to use on our new places deposit.

My big brother is the best. He lives in Oklahoma, and I live in California. We always Skype each other every night, and I always tell him how badly I want the 3DS after it came out. Well he decided to go out of his way and get me the 3DS Zelda Edition on Black Friday, even though he worked that day. He made a 13 minute video of unboxing and starting up the game.
