Hacking Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS downgradable?

I just acquired a 25th anniversary edition 3ds and it's on fw 9.5.0-22u. I was looking at modchips and such, when I also read about cfw. I didn't realize how far cfw for the 3ds has come. But anyways to my point, I was curious if my device would be able to be downgraded, or if there are any limitations on it.

It can be downgraded just the same as any other 3DS.

Yup! That should work! Make sure to get the correct CIA files! Follow the guide to the T! Don't try to do something not stated in the guide

That guide is considered "part 2" in the guide to downgrading. You need to get something called "browserhax" in order to access the Homebrew Launcher.

Make sure to have SysUpdater 0.4.2 if you don't- go here and download 0.4.2

Now question is, I have an old3ds correct? It's the Black and gold zelda 3ds.
Also i have browserhax installed, i believe so anyways. I can hold L when starting to boot into the HBC. But it mentions dns settings, does browserhax mess with dns settings at all?

If it has a second joy stick, it's a new 3ds. If it has only one joystick, it's an old 3ds. Eh, you can probably ignore that DNS stuff. You wanna get browser hax > install menu hax > downgrade > install cfw > install HBL cia on your sysnand if you don't want to suffer browserhax > install menuhax and cold boot into cfw

That's only to bypass the the browser-firmware check. Not entirely necessary.

The most up-to-date sysupdater is plailect's which uses svhax. Sysupdater 0.4.2 is nearly 3 months old using memchunkhax2.

Yeah, should be more reliable.
The old one takes many attempts before it actually works in terms of booting into. Though both do the same job

So i did the downgrade through plailect, on reboot my screen is black. I can circumvent the issue by booting without the SD in, but is there a way to fix this?

Yeah. Turn on your sd without the sd card, once it's booted put your sd card back in, change the theme to the default white theme. I think that fixes it.
