Honestly, I've never seen a Yu-Gi-Oh topic here. Since that Pokemon TCG topic, I decided to create a Yu-Gi-Oh one. Hey, if this starts off good, I'd be willing to bet that Guild makes the Magic topic.

Background on me as a player:

I have been into Yu-Gi-Oh since the second Booster. Metal Raiders I believe. My first tournament was a minor one at Gamestop. I got to second place on the 7 Boosters I bought on the spot. You'll never be able to do that now, but I digress. Since that first one, I have never really played competitively. I usually just played with my mates at school, all the way up to sophomore year when the club just fell apart, and I gave my entire collection to a less fortunate friend. Since then, I have been playing the games on the DS. Which I have honed my strategies to a sharp point.[/p]

Heres the skinny, if you're going to share a deck with us, please use an external site such as this to give a nice list that can then be pasted into a long code box:
CODEDecklist here

It's more fun to play than the Pokemon cards. I never understood the Pokemon card game to be honest with you. With the YuGiOh game, it made a lot more sense to me. But I've drastically cut back on dueling. I'm more collecting them now.

My first deck was the YuGi starter deck when it first launched, then the Kaiba, then I bought a bunch of booster packs (couldn't tell you which ones). Gave up. Don't know what happened to my cards. Started collecting again this year by getting the Marik Structure Deck. Then I bought a bunch of Hidden Assault 3 booster packs. Then I bought that Red Nova Dragon fall 2010 tin deck, and recently just bought the Blue tin deck (I forget the name of it).

People still play pokemon? See, I can do it too.
Wasn't talking about Pokemon but k.
I ask this because I never hear anybody talk about it.
I see people play Pokemon at my school, but never Yu-Gi-Oh (but then again I only see them play the games and not the trading card game.)

Except there are probably a thousand times as many Pokemon players.
I'm really not talking about the games though. Yugioh has always been a TCG, but Pokemon hasn't.

Updated the OP with one of my decks I use at the moment.

Although Pokemon has been a TCG longer than Yugioh has

So, I'm not sure why that matters. When people think Yugioh, they think card games. When people think Pokemon, they think about the video games, or the manga, or the anime. You don't see adults playing card games on Motorcycles in pokemon now do you?

I play Machinas + Cyber Dragons. Got the 1 turn kill combo, and the constant swarming under my belt.

Shit's beast.

I've played in a couple of tournaments. I beat a cheater once. It was epic.

There are many people for whom the anime would first come to mind, I'm sure.

eh i used to play it a long time ago, had an exodia deck that could beat just about anyone in less than 10 turns.

Played in a few tournaments then some black kid stole my deck when i wasn't looking, haven't really bothered with it since.

But i know absolutely nothing about how the game is now, was like 7 or 8 years ago, i wouldn't know about any of the new cards.
