Hacking YSMenu + R4DS - Noob needs servere help.

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Now I have an Issue. I have searched the site and google for the past few days, and I am yet to find a solution.

I am trying to get YSMenu running on my R4, but I have hit a snag, and it is realy frustrating me as I know it must be something very simple.

Following the guide I can get upto Step 7 with no issues, other than only 2 files being generated. I can not for the life of me get r4patch.dat to generate. Even by following this little step it wont generate.

Files I am using are:

DSTT Kernel 1.11
YSMenu0804200115
DLDI patching tool
R4 DLDI
r4crypt

If any one can help an old noob that would be great. As stated I am fairly certain there is something very simple that I am not doing, or doing wrong.
