Hacking YSM3 Pokemon Emerald unable to save!

It tries saving, shows an eror then goes onto another screen showing a timer which never stops. It keeps looking for somewhere to save! How can I fix this?

Because I use Ez 3in1, not M3 GBA Expansion. Does it need patching?

I used to use this but it wouldn't work for me, besides I like YSM3 as it runs all my NDS roms without patches needed. :/

Emerald doesn't save for me with YSM3 either (I'm using the M3 Expansion). It worked earlier, so I guess I would work with Sakura. Why not use the GBAExpLoader? You can still start it through YSM, and if it doesn't work with your 3in1, try an older version.
