YouTube Trending Section “really trending?”

I actually don't like how YouTube is designed overall, like the mobile homepage is nothing but recommended videos which prevents me from exploring new content. The trending page is one big advertisement firm and signing out just makes my homepage trending.

I find it hilarious how mobile view is handled on YT, it's not even responsive LOL

The gaming tab is the worst...
All I can see is clickbait & Fortnite and livestreams that aren’t even live.
MrBeast is even on Trending for no reason only to make profit.

The home feed has ALWAYS been mainstream and/or clickbait trash

The related videos went downhill when they started mixing in "recommended for you" which are (allegedly) related to other videos you watched but rarely if ever to the current one
