YouTube not working on Wii U

I installed YouTube a few weeks ago using FunkyScotts method.

It worked fine but today when launching YouTube I get an Error Code: 102-28882 and that the service is not available.

What’s up with that?

That could indeed be the reason why its not working. What a crap. I hope someone manages to find a way to put it up again,.

Nintendo fixed the problem today.


and also. the plugin is probably outdated, or the guide did not work. Try another guide I guess

What are you talking about? This was the only way to get it working.

I only homebrewed my Wii u over this most recent holiday season(2024). Samsung chipset, Wii u v 5.5.6 U, Inlay v3.0.0, GiveMiiYouTube v2.0 . I know this is going to be super late to the convo, but I had a similar issue. Working fine working fine, then suddenly unable to contact YouTube or an error code. What helped it for me was going into settings>data management and deleting the YouTube app's "shared save data" eventually the error will come back so this is not a permanent fix, but it gets the app working again. For me at least..
