Youtube 'AdSense' - is it worth it ?

Recently I've been getting Emails from Youtube stating I could earn money from my videos,
(Not that I get THAT many viewers - the most I've ever had is 34,281)

... But is it worth it ??
... Does anyone here actually use it ??

I know that ANY money I get will be peanuts (I'll only get the money once it get to a limit) , but it seems Sooo tempting to get 'free money' for nothing

If I do go for it,
I'm not sure if I'd prefer to have a check sent to me, or go by the 'Electronic Transfer' method (I'd prefer to keep my bank details Off-line as much as possible - although if they offered paypal, I may go for it) - getting a Check seem the most likely method for me

Those of you who have AdSense, How do YOU actually get paid ?? & why did you choose that method ??

I know a guy who does this stuff, and he's not a really big youtuber.
His average views are 4000-11000, and last month he got 400$ total.

I say go for it, just make sure you don't enable those commercials in the beginning of the video.

400 dollars a month is really a lot of money for only that amount of views. Just think what the real bigwigs can earn with videos that easily get over 100k views each. I'd say go for it, but only if you already spend some time and effort on your channel.

They wouldn't do it since they are smart enough to know there would be no reason to do it in the first place.

Also, I don't use the YouTube adsense because it isn't worth it, but that is my opinion.

And all the money you earn is sent via check. They won't send anything until you make at least $10.

I would do it if I could, but I live in shitville and we don't get any partner/adsense stuff.

Might as well; a little extra money never hurts, and the ads are never long enough to drive away views anyway.
