Just curious, but what time format do you guys use?

I personally use 12-hour time, because that's the format I was taught and because, to the best of my knowledge, it's the standard format where I live.

Internet time ( http://www.timeanddate.com/time/internettime.html )
Seriously though 24 hour when writing things, speaking varies between all three depending on the person I am speaking to and the method I am doing it by (phones and radios seem to have a lot of noise).

My guess most of the slightly older UK people will use 24 Hour, the younger ones will lean towards 12 for general use but understand 24 hour and/or military due to the way things are taught and the pervasive tendencies of US English.

24-hour for everything except speaking.

How cool does this sound? Meet you at alpha base at 21 hundred hours!
How lame does this sound? Meet you at alpha base at 9 O' Clock in the evening... sharp... (By that time, you're KIA)

But no, only military commanders are allowed to speak 24 hour during briefing and combat lol.

I remember when I first got my DS and I saw that it used the 24 hour format. I didn't really know how to tell time from it and I was always kind of mad at the fact that it used that format. lol

But I learned how to tell time from it eventually.

i noticed that when somebody asked me what time it was and since it was my first time seeing it i had to do math for about 5 mins cause i was taught 12 hour time and everybody i know uses it.

I had to do the same thing too, but not just once. I do it several times when I see 24 hour time because I'm not really used to it as I was taught 12 hour time.
