Or did you mean real animals?
1. Eagles and other majestic predatory birds. Owls are cool too.
2. Cats (including wild cats)
3. Foxes
4. Lizards
5. Ferrets (I wouldn't want one as a pet, but they're mega cute)
6. Otters
7. Dogs
8. Snakes

Most of these things I could happily have as a pet. Although I think an otter might be impractical. And ferrets are just too much trouble.
