Can confirm @Pickle_Rick and his quote. Recently signed up for the preview program and was accepted. Attempted to enter Dev mode and was greeted with an error stating that preview enabled consoles are ineligible for developer mode.

Had to format the whole shebang because dev mode was more important.
well i dont know how im in it still then i have no clue

I just updated to see if the was actually any difference in performance with the PS1 Emulator and I can confirm this new update hasn't made any difference at all.
So if this update had the resource increase that would mean the bottleneck in the Emulator has nothing to do with raw grunt.. There must be another reason why the Emulator is slow?

it could be that the apps havenyt been updated to support the new resources, but i have no clue how the update works

in this video i show im in the insider hub updates and have dev mode

I'd be interested in seeing your preview dash version. Perhaps your updated further than I am and further preview updates allow this. My preview dash definitely allowed me to install the dev app and looked identical to yours, but upon launching dev mode I was greeted with the error I posted previously.

I'll re-enable preview and then try dev mode again. I have no games installed and Retrix is simple to configure. I won't lose too much to try.

Newest Retrix doesn't perform any better on the fall update, but I cannot confirm that Retrix has been rebuilt for new dev mode specs (or if it even needs to be rebuilt) nor can I find confirmation that the fall update actually enabled the dev mode specs that it proclaimed it would.

i havent noticed by turning up the resolutions and settings on the ppsspp emulator the same settings still lag as they did before so i doubt the system has any boost yet

Did anyone else realise that in the Xbox settings while in developer mode you can change the allowance for system memory, last time I looked I could change between 1gb and 2gb

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I aren’t 100% sure if this has changed anything but after testing GTA VICE CITY STORIES I can now run at full 30fps 100% speed on ppsspp

My Xbox is also in alpha preview and dev mode too.
