Hacking Yet another "Help me i've done something stupid" post! (read on)

I've resolved to not completing the vWii modifications until i have a powered usb3.0 hard drive as per the specific instructions in the definitive guide... SO. i've decided to do something different.

TeconMoon's WiiVC Injector.

I'm attempting to inject the Wii game called "MadWorld" into the WiiU.. and i've done it.. But it doesnt work. it loads up the Wii logo, then boots to a black screen.

Everything up til that point is successful. so i am wondering if i can get some help please?

try a different hard drive or move to internal storage see if that works

Madworld works perfect for me... Not sure what you did wrong.. I used the same injection tool.. It could be a bad dump bro

may i know what options you used to do such a dump?

just so i can learn from it.

just delete it from the wiiu in memory management, get a new iso and confirm its a good md5 before doing the injection again, that is clearly a bad dump/ bad installed wup.

I have opted to go for full pc emulation for the Nintendo Wii. I have used the program known as ModMii, and i have a full NAND and everything. The only things that DONT work are:

* Friend Codes (Thanks for killing that off Nintendo)
* Messaging Services that use Friend Codes
* Nintendo E-Shop (Still learning how to do that one, but a very low priority due to NUS Downloader)

and last but not least: Wiimote point and click!. But that last bit is quite alright because i have found De Wae! https://www.amazon.com.au/Mcbazel-Mayflash-Wireless-Dolphin-Windows/dp/B0787XGBDP .

The Nintendo Wii emulation works efficient up to the 97 percentile. and all the games that i DO want to play via dolphin are either 1. Perfect or 2. Playable on the dolphin compatibility list.

Win Win, NO BRICKING OF ANYTHING! .

vwii is the easiest thing ever, people all modded their wiis back then and even kids with 10 yo could mod them lol, vwii just needs vwii cios instead of wii cios, that is the only diference.
