I've never had a single issue with 100+ burned GCN games.

I believe it refers to a fix for streaming GCN games; which unless they've figured how to do with the USB ports is impossible.

Not only that, but pointless, as Wii has no issues reading cheaper 4.7 GB
DVD -/+ R.

From what I've read, the 'audio fix' has to do with Gamecube games having messed up audio. Before, you'd have to apply a patch to the ISO image and then burn it. These chips, supposedly, have this fix included that fixes the audio on-the-fly, so you don't need to patch each image before burning it.
