    From their site

SO, another mistake from ZEUS and his so called review from Cyclowiz (i doubt he ever installed the chip)

I think audiofix is not even something that the chip do, its something that the wii itsefl must handle i guess...

But now we see that the cyclowiz is just a clone [IMG]

    1) 3 posts and swear about one of the most active person from the scene : suck**

    2) The Wii is not able to "stream audio fix" a game because an original one don't have any problem about because it's... an original

Just cause i have 3 posts HERE doesnt mean you know me, i post in many foruns like maxconsole, xbox-scene, xboxhacker, and im even a mod at Team-Xecuter on the PSP section (altough not so active anymore)

Zeus had some EXCELENTS review but dont excuse him of this pitiful "advertised" review about Cyclowiz....

When you read a REVIEW you expect non biased opinon and nos this kind of crap (extracted directed from the so called review)

"read our review of the one that has the best chances to survive : CycloWiz by Team Cyclops."

"While it is clearly a must-have feature, it’s yet unknown, but unlikely, that wiinja offers this feature."

    "CycloWiz rocks!"

    I think its pretty clear...

I think from previous examples we've seen it's clear where Maxconsole's pocketbook is. Some nice info in the review but...yeah.
I agree with Pacote on this.

Not to derail the topic or anything [IMG] Continue.

as far as what we know now, CycloWiz and Wiinja both connect to the DVD drives serial port, i highly doubt that any one of them actually "audio fix". CycloWiz is just a clone of Wiinja from what i read. It has quicksolder but that makes it HELL when u want to remove it.

oh, and hi! long time reader, but never posted!

Yeah, they're obviously bought by that CycloWiz company.

Wiinja wasn't even out when CycloWiz was announced so the chances of them finding a Wiinja, extracting the code, and making their own chips is highly unlikely. What people don't realize is that there are lots of experts that can discover the same thing and that's exactly what has happened here.

From what I've read, the 'audio fix' has to do with Gamecube games having messed up audio. Before, you'd have to apply a patch to the ISO image and then burn it. These chips, supposedly, have this fix included that fixes the audio on-the-fly, so you don't need to patch each image before burning it.

I just soldered the 5 wires already and its really easy, 2 big solder points and 3 smaller but very easy to do.

its almost the same as gamecube modchips like qoob/viper.

now just waiting for the wiinja and i can start testing [IMG]

This reminds me, does it run? Meaning, can we just cut the wires to our Wiinjas if a better chip comes out or do we have to desolder.

    Thanks

i guess you could just cut the wires and resolder them onto the new chip? dont actually have to desolder the wires from the wii
