Xperia Arc eh? I have one myself. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. [IMG]

    Pros:
    - Extremely thin and lightweight. Very, very comfortable to hold. The device itself is beautiful.
    - Fantastic 8MP camera, with up to 720p HD video recording. Critically acclaimed by many to be the best camera to appear on an Android device.
    - Runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Latest update adds "Facebook integration" to the OS, if you're into that.
    - Beautiful screen for video playback.
    - Smooth experience overall. Hardly any slowdown on phone.

    Cons:
    - Average viewing angles.
    - Single core processor may appear to be slow when faced against dual-core competition. RAM is on the low side.
    - Very limited internal memory storage.
    - No front-facing camera for self-portraits and video chat.

    Other Issues:
    - Default launcher may lag at times. I switched to Launcher Pro and never had a problem since.
    - Iffy placement of the camera button, and the camera itself. Being close to the edges may cause some fingers to appear on video.
    - Facebook and other programs running in the background tend to deplete the battery life very quickly. I just kill of the Facebook application when I'm not using it.

The default launcher is basically the UI that Sony Ericsson included with the device. It displays your homescreens, with your icons and widgets, as well as menus and such. The default Arc launcher tends to lag at times, possibly due to bad software design. I used the custom launcher, downloaded from the Market, Launcher Pro, and haven't had a problem with lag on my homescreens since.

I haven't had any focus issues on my device, nor has any critics as far as I've heard. In fact, I'm having a much better time focusing on objects, especially in low-light situations, with the Xperia Arc over any other mobile phone in the past.

If "jellyfishing" is referred to the auto-stabilization built into video recording, I also haven't had any issues with it. It keeps videos much more stabler, like it is supposed to. The 'jellyfish' effect on the video is due to the user shaking the camera too frequently, while the stabilizer attempts to make the image appear more still. Plus, this can be disabled in the camera app, so there's no reason for that to be an argument either.

i'm not sure if it was this phone, but there was one with a cover on the camera that ruined the quality, you just had to take the clear cover off the camera lens and then it was fine
