I actually did manage to get this working, I just forgot to post back. You need the standalone Torna DLC too. No idea why. Even with all of the season pass stuff it didn't work, but I went and installed the Torna nsp and it loads now. Maybe try that?

Possibly if you go online with CFW, so it is unlikely if you do offline.

I got Torna DLC as part of season pass legally and it should work with this save?

Updated: This save works great with Torna DLC that included in season pass.

I have all the DLC as well and I am still getting the message with your save sadly.

if you are still getting that message then you DONT have all the DLCs. i had this same issue but downloading all of these:

XBC2 DLC Brand New Story

XBC2 DLC Helpful Items Pack

XBC2 DLC JPN Lang Pack

XBC2 DLC New Challenge Mode

XBC2 DLC New Quests

XBC2 DLC New Rare Blade

XBC2 UPD 2.0.2

fixed it. make sure you have them all. even if you THINK you do just re download and install with tinfoil. if you have them then it will say it already is installed.

there's 6 normal dlc for xc2.
1 dlc that's a torna game. abt 3gb.
finally update for torna at 1.02 and xc2 at 2.02.
that's what finally work for me.

This save was fantastic! Quick question - do you or anyone happen to have a 100% completed save for the Torna DLC? Would love to use that for a NewGame+

Edit: Just learned the standalone game and the DLC for the original game gamesaves are not compatible - I'm asking for the DLC version gamesave please.

Just download all the dlc, and the latest update and incorporate the save.

So I imported this save on my first switch and it got banned but before it got banned the save was uploaded and saved as a backup in the cloud. Will downloading the save from the could ban my switch?

You ran cfw to inject the save that what got you banned. Nintendo ban system not account, so you might get lucky.

I can't afford it if it doesn't work :/ If someone knew that would be amazing but until then I'll just play on the banned system. Also, if it's possible to update the game after a switch is banned, that would be good.

You do. I backed up my save, restored this one and now when I select either "Continue" "Events Theater" or "New Game Plus" it tells me "The downloadable content has been removed. Please redownload the content to continue playing your previously-saved game."

I just wanted this because it's taking up 14 ish gigs on my card and I didn't like it enough to play more than 30 hours of it, so I figured I'd just download a completed file and watch all the cutscenes in the Event Theatre. I wonder if there are any non DLC 100%s out there?

after i download it how do i get it on my switch to use it exactly? if anyone can help me with this i would appreciate it
