I have loaded a modified XCI of a game, that contained a translation patch in my Switch, it worked fine, but now i cannot revert back to the original XCI of this particular game.
When i try to load i got a message saying "A software update is required".
I think i tracked the issue down.
The patched XCI has a modified version in the gameinfo (it is fake, this game has no updates released), with the value: 9895936. Checked it with NX Game Info.
The stock XCI has value 0 for that same field.
I tried to delete the game data and saves in my switch, but it wont work. The is some kind of trail left behind in the system from the patched XCI that tells the switch there´s a newer version of that particular game (0 vs 9895936).
Anyone had and issue like this before? Is there anything i can do to fix this?
I guess if i change the version from the original XCI to match the patched one manually it would boot. But i couldnt find anything on how to manually change gameinfo values, like version or publisher.
