Hi guys waiting on my sx pro. I've got a xci file. Do I need to do anything to it before it goes onto sd card?
Is there software that checks the xci or do I leave it and just put it onto sd card?
Did try looking for a post about games but couldn't find one.
Many thank

Suggestion would be buy 32gb cards one at a time and treat them like cartridges and switch them out. You can get 32gb for under their retail price usually if you know the right place.

And restart the console every time you want switch a game?

What if you use the homebrew ftpd.nro to swap xci files via FTP, then you wont have to remove the sd card nor reboot the switch. Might work?
Yay, 1gb to 32gb for ONE GAME via FTP.
How fun to wait "x" hours to play a game! /s

Seriously, FTP transfer is cancer, please buy only one (1) correct SD card and you're okay forever.

Sort of unrelated topic but i can't make an other thread for 24 hours:

Is it possible to switch sd cards without the switch rebooting?
