Hardware Xbox won't read hfs+

hi i heard its possible for the xbox to recognize hfs+ partition so i used Macdrive to format my usb but when i put the usb in the xbox the xbox didn't recognize it. any help would be greatly appreciated

The 360 only reads FAT32/FATX(Xbox partition table)
You can't get HFS+ to work on a 360 ;]

HFS+ is supported because some older iPods used it (when formatted on a mac?). Try MBR.

Isn't that only with the optional Ipod support?
As far as I know the 360 won't read it.

I have no idea what is required. I only used the Xbox as a media player rarely; my first iPod used regularly was a touch and it worked completely different and I believe was not supported.
I do know that my Macintosh buddy had a USB HDD on HFS+ with music/video that he used on the Xbox many years ago.

I'm thinking that it requires the optional Ipod update.
Cause to my knowledge, the only partition tables that work are FAT32 and FATX.

I have no HFS+ drive to test it out tho ;o
