Hello everyone,
so i recently took out the old console to play, and wanted to transfer some game backups over.
tried plugging in the ext. drive to my computer, but it only showed like 2 files which are unrelated.
I then plugged it back to the console to transfer files over FTP, and now the console won't boot to Aurora, and won't recognize the drive,
even tho it lights up and does show up in my computer(tho even the 2 files that were there arent there now, yet it still shows the drive as half full)
So i guess i now have to start from scratch, how do i do so?
tried doing my own research, but as a complete newbie stumbling into many old\dead\outdated links i thought i would ask here.
I tried using a 16gb usb drive i had lying around and managed to get XeXMenu running on the console, how do i go on from here?
and for future reference, is there a way i can safely move files over via the PC? or im pretty much stuck with FTP?

Thanks in advance =)
TL;DR : dead external drive which held all of my dash files\games, how do i create a new one?

I have a perfectly fine tutorial on how to install FSD.
It can be adapted to install Aurora if needed, the tools used can be a bit dated but with some google-fu you can get the latest releases and load it all from a USB pen drive.
