Gaming x box 360 and laptop

ok so i have a laptop with wireless connection and i wanna try and go on xbox live by using cat6 cables (the one that it come with when u buy the xbox) is that possible and if so i would like to know how

Assuming the laptop has a ethernet port on it , it should be able to be done. Network cable to xbox , ICS on laptop set up to share the net connection with the 360.
