Is there something like wii update file extractor for the computer? I'd rather do it on my computer than on the wii. Thanks.

You can open up and extract files from ISOs using wiiscrubber.
That should work fine, however can't remember what directory they are in (maybe "update"?) so you'll have to explore a little yourself (Shouldn't be too hard).
