fall 08 ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whaaaaaaaaaaaa

good news is that this sunday Knight Rider starts !

There is no start. It's a TV movie designed as a backdoor pilot. Meaning if the TV movie does well, then they will make it into a show.

No memories of the last Knight Rider film have just come flooding back.

One thing I do wonder about though is what DVDs are going to be like this year (something I care about far more than actual broadcast TV), sure some shows struggle to go the full 24 that seems to be mandated but it is going to be unusual.

The topic title annoys me. Writers wrok so hard and they are underrated because the general public always think everyone can do it.

The reason this strike started in the first place was because the relative salary of writers is going down pretty fast ( seems like holywood thinks that writers doesn't desreve part of the money THEIR creation makes { Yes I know movies/TV shows are collective work of the writers, cinematographs, actors, directors, stunt crew etc. but the writers are the first link and because they don't have any work to do while entering the production state the general public rarely look at them as the majour part of the creation they are })

Lost = Overrated !

Agreed!

Agree on Reaper too, love it but gotta wait till next month for the next ep to download! Supernatural has got good after the dodgy second series. Doesn't really affect us Brits really, we got Ashes To Ashes & Torchwood.

OH GAWD YES!

Thank god this came now because I couldn't image waiting a couple more months to find out what happens next on Prison Break.
We still have one episode left before the script runs out so hopefully the schedule won't be too interrupted.
The last episode had a damn evil cliffhanger and I'm expecting the next one to have an equally or even worse cliffhanger.

Nonsense! Everyone who strikes are just damn lazy liberals who just don't want to do any work damnit. It's this kind of people that made the US economy to what it is now, by demanding more money for themselves while not giving a shit about the immense profits their bosses have to make to compete in the current climate.

edit: Do you even love your country Raisingod? Cause it sure doesn't sound like it.

Will Arnett as the voice of KITT = Worst decision ever.

He is and always will be G.O.B.

Nope. Will Arnett had his voice completely recorded but he has done voice work for General Motors before and they weren't happy he was voicing a Ford car. So he has been replaced with Val Kilmer.

Yeah I couldn't really take Will Arnett seriously in a role other than a g.o.b like character. He's good in wristcutters because the character he plays is basicly the same as GOB.

Arrested Development is the best show ever. you heard they're planning a movie/dvd?

Pure rock solid comedy is so rare these days

Hey FAST, thanks a lot for that information on what will be back this season. That's exactly the info I was looking for and I had no idea there was a condensed source for it.

I'm personally quite glad the strike is over in time to salvage some of this season. I was getting tired of reading and actually talking to my wife

The only good thing that came of the strike for me, is that I gave LOST another chance. I gave up on it after season 2, but decided to check back in now that nothing else was on. I gotta say, I really like where they're headed with this season (starting with the season finale of S3). Not much on TV anymore makes me stare at the tube with disbelief. I love it when shows have those "No fucking way that just happened" moments.

The problem isn't the worker but the companies who want to make more profit on the back of their employees. You see the problem isn't that their wage didn't grow its that their PROPORTIONAL wage decreased. Can you tell me how can big studios increase most of the executive wages and decrease the common worker one.

In our capitalist world you see this thing all the time: the people in charge take more money and give less money to the common people ( Think about a prime minister that drives an expensive car that he got from GOVERNMENT money while preaching for cut backs)

And about me loving my country: I can love my country and still criticize the things it does ( If you want to talk about that open a new topic this one wasn't made for this )

These are the only two shows from that list I watch:

and
Prison Break

On the subject of writers striking, it's ridiculous because they are in a nonessential business. We can live perfectly normal lives without them. They are pretentious fucks to go on strike when people that do things like supply us with electricity, heat, water, and medical help are making possibly less money than the writers and are very much needed for many people to survive.

"wahhh i sit around and write all day and get paid for it but i want 4 more cents wahhh"

Sorry, I was being a sarcastic ass and actually agreeing with you. Next time I'll add a

EDIT: I see no mention of when Family Guy is expected to start again though
frown.gif

Hopefully it won't come back. That is the stupidest show ever. I hate how it's so popular. At every computer at school, there was someone watching Family Guy clips on Youtube.

IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!!!

The only people who like that show are the people with no sense of humour. And I just know that someone is gonna make the oh so witty "You're the one with no sense of humour" comment. Yeah, real clever. Though now that I've said that, the common reply would be "Well I wasn't gonna say that. So there!" And now that I've said that, the common reply would be "Shut the *insert swear* up!"

It may be possible that I've joined too many forums.

You're the one with no sense of humor.

And I've seen your comics. Don't even try to deny it.
