Just last night I had like 50 GB of space on my hard drive. But today when I got on, It dropped to 21 GB!! What happened to my computer? I don't even have that many things on the computer. Can someone help me?

My brother and cousin weren't on til after I figured it out which was earlier today. The only one that was on was my sister and she only downloaded a Rhapsody thing for her iPod. But she never installed it.

Check the folders in C:\ to see which have the largest size (ignoring the WINDOWS folder)

Does Rhapsody copy all of her music files into its own database and folders like iTunes?

If so, and if she has 30GB~ of music, that's probably what happened.

I'd do a search for all files on your PC by date and just see which ones were created and/or modified between today and yesterday.

maybe that some one hacked into ur compter using ur ip adress and did some crazy things like too much storage. i got hacked ones it was my friend that retard put bunch of porn all over my computer. it was in every files.

Back in the day this kinda thing was happening to me. I searched through my computer and found a file called FAT.EAT . It was literally a virus like file that would eat up the free space on my computer. I tracked it for a couple days and it just got larger and larger. It was up to a massive(at the time) 4gbs when I went for the delete button. Funny stuff though. Soo many viruses over the years...nothing recently tho.

I also had the Chernobyl virus back in the day. On the anniversary of the chernobyl meltdown I went to start up my computer and it just didn't happen. It killed my BIOS settings...and I had to get a new motherboard....

Man...viruses back in the day were so much better...*sigh* I wanna go backorifice or sub7 someone now =x
