Good job, keep working like this ;)

EDIT: @cpasjuste is it possible to add a blinking character on the screen so we know that the application is not frozen? Something like a character changing between "\" "l" and "/" for example, I think it's a good idea :)

This is totally possible. I'll have to do a lot of debug tough to ensure this doesn't interfere with the downgrade (title installation/deletion). I'll take a look in the future.

Edit: just downgrade my n3ds three times in a row so i guess it's ok :)

Confirmed working! My N3DS is now a cool 9.2! (downgraded from a fresh, formatted 10.3!

Now that the scariest part is over, I'll start setting up emunand and cfw tomorrow!

You have to try multiple times until it pass (should not take too much tries). Waiting ~10 sec before launching it from hb menu seems to help too.

When you've got a stable build, I would be happy to make some graphical assets. So long as your intrested/it wouldnt hinder the downgrade process.
Things like loading bar, friendly GUI, battery life icons, ect.

I try a lot of time but is black screen again an again ... it does not matter, thank you for your work and good luck !

EDIT : I have an o3ds if this help you

should this work for a red N3DS XL with 10.3.0-28U? Also, if I am mainly concerned about losing my save files for fire emblem awakening which I installed via FBI as a legit .cia game how should I go about keeping that save file after downgrading? Thanks!
 
how long does it take for it to initialize after it says hax sucess it has been at least 20 seconds should i turn it off and try again
