i guess you dont get the point that they don't care if 1 person will be upset as they cant use a feature legitimately as 10,000 others wouldn't

but again your problems are not theirs, if you don't like it, don't use it.....find something that suits your needs or make it yourself, no amount of arguing or pushing references will make your problem any of their concern, for piracy debates there is a thread floating around for all your heated debates

Having a backup and using the said backup are two different things. With that said, we're not here to discuss the morality of piracy. If you want a solution to make your own backups and play them yourself, you can use a Gateway for that, it works marvelously and does it's job plenty well on the hardware side. And unfortunately for eShop I myself have yet to get on the US eShop from my AUS device, so no solutions there (for now).

What methods have you looked at for cross-region eshop?

The nand swapping, patching/proxying, something else?

I'd like to look further at patching/proxying some parts of the eshop, don't have my 3ds back from being modded yet though.

Well sir, you've come to the wrong place! There's a reason the "A" in KARL stands for "Anti-Piracy" as for other CFWs, it doesn't look like anyone is working on enabling piracy for the N3DS through software at this current time

That's a question I really can't answer... So far, the only hope the N3DS has for free EmuNAND is KARL, so if you feel like you can wait it out until then (which will most likely grant eShop access a la rxTools on O3DS), then that's what I'd say if you wish to experience homebrew. Otherwise, feel free to update, I suppose. I'd get other's inputs before making the jump, though

KARL will likely support most of what you want, it just won't enable piracy. Either way though, you'll have to wait, as KARL is not yet ready, and has no current release date. For the N3DS, I'd recommend on using the gateway launcher to backup your NAND, so if you decide you want to use the exploits in the future, you can downgrade using that backup. You will need a copy of Cubic Ninja, for your current region, to do so though. If you're dead set on piracy, you could simply buy a Sky3DS and use that to boot Cubic Ninja and claim your NAND backup, then update and continue to use the Sky3DS for your piracy needs. Either way, KARL won't support it, so there's no point in commenting here asking for it.

Weren't you going to "learn" both assembly and c in "at least 2 weeks"? And weren't you going to RE and make your own CFW? Ahahah

Have you tried swapping between NAND images in the order laid out here?

Yep and I'm still learning but it is time consuming and actually there isn't any known entry point in 9.6 fw and even if I'm doing good with C and soon with assembly I will not pretend that i will be the guy who found the next flaw I could try but I don't think so
