It generally means that you have not run the dsp dump homebrew. You need to run it once. It extracts the dsp binary to your sd card. The extracted binary file is loaded during ndspInit.

Can this be run from a flashcart? I'd like to keep my games on the internal storage and use the flashcart's sd slot. Presumably I can load it as a 3ds game on a Sky3ds but would it have access to files on the flastcart's microsd?

ctrmus comes with a ".3ds" file which I think you should be able to use on you flashcart. As I don't have a flashcart, I have never tested this version, so I don't know which file system it would access.

Will there ever be any plans to include BCSTM support? Because freeShop was the only accurate BCSTM player and I'd really like to see a BCSTM player app. This code might help you with implementing full BCSTM support: https://github.com/cheuble/BCSTM-Player

And also, having full looping support for BCSTMs as well, is a must-have!
