No, Rosetta on the Mac just translated the instruction set from Power PC to Intel. The technology on Windows 7 virtualizes a machine's hardware and has more overhead to it.

It's just virtualization, I've been doing it for years. The only thing that's bugging me is that I can't use this program because it requires hardware-level virtualization. I have an Athlon X2 2.2GHz dual-core CPU, and it can normally run virtual machines like a champ, but I can't use this because it needs AMD-V. What the hell? I have to build a new computer just to run a VM now? I guess I'll be sticking to Virtualbox.
