Ok so that's probably a very stupid question considering the current state of this, but I don't have a N3DS to try it myself and whatever I guess it costs nothing to ask: Has anyone tried to run the windows executable of the original Pikmin ?

i dont know how to type all the cmds on this page on a 3ds http://dsync.blogspot.com/2014/03/a-complete-guide-to-install-windows-95.html
You can always write a script, that'll take care of all the DOS Commands.

EDIT:

Here's a Script i wrote, in case you need it.
Includes both .cmd and .bat.

Code:
@echo off

Assuming you're using the retroarch port of dosbox, all you need to do is use the c-stick to move the mouse (the controls are inverted) and use the L/R triggers for left and right clicking.
can u send me that version i have an older one the newewst doesnt work

EDIT: RETROARCH HAS OFFICIALLY ADDED DOSBOX TO THE BUILDBOT. PLEASE GET FROM THERE, AS IT HAS MOUSE SUPPORT. THANKS!

I'll just jump right to what you want to see ;)

My only question is why... but then again, why not, whats with people wanting to port windows 95 to everything?

Half just because they can and half just to see what happens I guess? Personally I would love it if a windows OS as early as 95/98 was playable on a handheld simply because Age of Empires would be an awesome game to play on such a handheld.

Possibly you'd get an awesome unplayable game. The resolution/screen is way too small.

Having DOSBox running decently should suffice. There's plenty of cool games waiting to be replayed.

So after an entire day of trying to install the right .img file and get It to atleast boot up
I finished at last and got the buttons working from the retroarch settings and now im getting all these errors from windows help what do I do?!

Besides if you want to really play these games on the go. invest in a vintage laptop. you get first hand experince in repairing/maining legacy hardware, and you get a better feel of play than on an N3DS.
