Okay, let me see what I can have on drivers, could be a little driver issue.

Okay. To all related Intel components : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24345/Intel-Driver-Support-Assistant
To your GeForce-related graphic card : http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/124405/en

I already have v385.69 installed.

@smileyhead If I were you, I would uninstall the graphics drivers, reboot into Safe Mode, and reinstall the newer versions you got from Driver Magician. My guess is you didn't uninstall them the first time. I would also attempt to disable all of my startup programs to see if that allows the computer to boot normally.

In addition, could you send us a picture of your Device Manager?

I think he/she has got a problem on Windows Installer, and that's odd.

The problem with the Intel drivers is very common. Uninstalling the driver first will fix the problem.

Edit: I'm also not convinced it's the cause of the problem.

Oh well, if that's common.... Only had AMD hardware until my Asus X540L with Intel HD graphics came haha

To be clear, the second error message is what's common. The first error message is likely due to that installer's incompatibility with Safe Mode.

Yeah. Also thought of being in Safe Mode could make some issues since not a lot of drivers are loaded (including the W.I. part)

I only get this issue when using a UX THEME. If you have any installed, you'll need to login, press CTRL ALT DEL, and run task manager. Run a task, run control panel, then uninstall the theme and UX THEME. Only assuming you have it installed. Then reboot, fixed!

EDIT:

I read through the previous posts. If you have access to safe mode, and a full desktop. Then just do what I said before. If this is a graphics driver issue, just find the driver and install it. Don't use Windows update.

Alright, uninstalled and deleted the drivers from Safe Mode, rebooted into Safe Mode again, and installed the two drivers that @sp3off linked. Both drivers installed correctly (the Intel driver wasn't whining about validity this time).

@Lacius here's the screenshot of Device Manager:

Hmm, I did have it installed for some reason. Didn't use it in any way, though.
Uninstalled it just now, guess I'll reboot.

Could you show an image of the details of the Generic PnP Monitor?

Nothing like it works or still a black screen ?
Black screen with cursor, and Personalised Settings. There was also a Cmd-window, but I don't know what it was displaying.

2006...

Try by updating the driver and taking (again) Generic PnP Monitor, I'm sure there is a more recent one.

Nope! "The best drivers are already installed".
Trying to look into drivers further with Windows Update just makes it load forever.
