windows 10, can't check for updates

heh, i updated my windows from 7 to 10 in the beginning of the year IRRC

windows is activated (legit)
i remember there was some privacy stuff around on the interwebz and i remember to change some stuff around so microsoft wouldn't spy me that much...

the thing is, now some stuff is not working like skype, updates and even the "app store"
i can't remember which thread i used for prevent the data colection so i don't know how to reverse it..
i already restored the original HOSTS file
sometimes in the settings menu it appears a message saying "some settings are managed by your administration"
