Gaming Wind Waker HD

Yeah the Nintendo Direct thread is great, but this is just for the Wind Waker HD game.

For those of you who haven't played it, now you have no reason not to. Easily one of the best Zelda games in the franchise, awesome music, awesome visuals comes to life in HD.

I'm stoked for this, day one purchase for me. The game already looked beautiful on the GameCube, and now it's coming back in HD... and I jizzed in my pants.

At first I thought this was the new Zelda they were working on and I was like "seriously, the toon link stuff again?" but then I found out it was Wind Waker... mmmmm Nintendo, you can bend me over that barrel all you want.

It's a complete remake, updated models, textures, lighting, everything.
Yeah I agree people shouldn't use the term HD for this, it's misleading.

It was the only screen shown. How is it misleading? It'll be HD. I'm not going to not use HD just because some people will play it on the GamePad.

I know that. I just hate how that word/acronym is thrown around so much. HD =/= good graphics

It was NOT the only screen shown. There are two others. Also, take a good look at that screen. Depth of Field, Real time Lights and a new shader. This game will look more like a CGI movie than a cartoon. Day 1 buy for me!

I still dont get the excitement either way. Its a re release of a game thats already been out. Why do people keep wanting to play the same games over and over again just because the next "remake" has shinier graphics.

It has new features and gameplay refinements alongside the new graphics. and if you played wind waker with a GBA as second screen you had more fun. now figure where the new second screen goes...

I'll play it through 480p on Wii. Or even i'd grab my old N64 majora's mask cart and replay it on the original, low res N64. It's much better than buying a new gaming console to replay your old games, in 2013. (because I AM grateful what they did on wii because of N64/SNES/NES/etc emulation years ago on the Wii platform)

Well, the did say getting rid of the single player idea, so the next one could be both.

If so, I hope it isn't just Rayman and Mario Galaxy way of 2 player.

Wow! This looks great! Wind Waker was my favorite game in the Zelda series. Seeing it in HD, is awesome!
