Hacking Will the 2i work on the 3DSXL?

Very likely but Ninty MAY decide to upgrade the firmware such that it will block them until flashcart developers find a way to circumvent it which normally appears pretty quickly. So you'd prob not be able to use it for say.... a few days at most, give and take?

Making an educated guess off of the release of both the DSi XL and the 3DS... it should be possible.

I'd be surprised if it didn't, an update for the flashcarts perhaps, as it's a 3DS with larger screens and flashcarts operate on the 3DS.

3DS XL will share the same firmware of the original 3DS.
Known that, I can assure you that Acekard 2i will always work on 3DS XL,
just needing firmware updates now and then
