Will Emulators for New 3DS work on a New 2DS?

Hi,
I digged out my old Nintendo DS Lite <and I'm thinking of upgrading to a second hand DSI XL, New 2DS XL or New 3DS XL.
Besides of Playing some Nintendo Games, I'm interested in using Emulators for older consoles and computers.
I'm especially interested in the following:
Commodore 64 - there's a port of Vice for 3DS
Amiga - there's a port of UAE for 3DS
ScummVM - I don't know if there's a port for 3DS
Will the 3DS Emulators especially Vice 3DS also work on a New 2DS XL or only on a New 3DS XL?
For playing Nintendo Games I think 2DS XL is the better choice to me because I always got a headache when playing in 3D mode with a friend and I think old NDS games look a little sharper on New 2DS than on New 3DS. So I'd prefer getting a New 2DS but only if Vice 3DS is running on it.

New 3DS and new 2DS systems are the same. So, it doesn't matter which system you use.
