Hacking will downgrading my 3DS format its memory?

Question in title. Also, is there a way to get my AceKard 2i work on my 3DS without formatting it?

And formating it won't help here.

I should be more clear. I have CFW installed on my 3ds, on 11.7. But i risked losing the ability to access my acekard when i did the hack. i'm wondering how i can get access back, and if i should downgrade.

You probably used the acekard to hack your 3ds right? If so, you need to reflash it back (section V).

Well, I'm not sure. My father did a hack for my 3DS using NDS Bootstrap for 4.3.0. A few years later, my sister updated my 3ds, making me lose access to the nds bootstrap that enables me to use the AceKard. I then hacked my 3DS on firmware 11.6 without the use of the AceKard.

So you probably used the acekard to hack your 3ds. So all you need to do is to reflash it back (section V).

No. YOu are reflashing the flashcard internal memory. Not its SD nor 3ds's SD.
