Hacking wiiware games that go online?

would it harm my wii if i got a wad for a online wiiware game and played the game online? i've heard somewhere that it could but it was not a reliable source so i figured i should check. any help would be appreatiated.


Also i am not askin for any wad files or anything like that i know that is not allowed on gbatemp

i don't know why some1 said it was true so i figured id just make sure. i know its probably a stupid question but hey im a noob at this

EDIT:also since its a wad file not the proper game itself. so thats why i sorta believed going online might harm my wii

well an ISO is basically the same thing.
