Hacking WIIu

hi. i have wii u from japan. i did not hack it yet. try to study how to hack. becasue the problem is japanese language .

it is very hard for me to follow link for hack becaeu japanese language/

i have some question.
1. if i can hack wiiu success by install homebrew.
does it possible to change system menu from japanese to english . if it can . how to do it?


ps. i saw wii console can change system menu from japanese to english . i really hope wiiu can do the same

You can't really change the Wii U menu to English if it's not natively available. However, font packs are still available within console itself so someone might get some luck by creating a homebrew which forcefully changes system language.

WiiU can't be region changed, it's technically possible (with the usual "install foreign OS + change region setting") but with the lack of recovery options (the hardmod for SLC is hard and there's none at all for eeprom) nobody is really willing to try

You can enforce language however. Since every Wii U has the same set of fonts installed.

Depending on if the software actually has the language you want...
