Holy shit, visual novels with decent titles?

You could even play them just 1, 2, V3, without the extra media. I’d recommend that if you’re only into the visual novel gameplay aspect. The 3 anime wraps up both the stories from 1 and 2, and Ultra Despair Girls is a third person shooter spinoff that adds more lore and history to the series. But at the end of the day, they’re just extras, and only the mainline three entries are really needed.
