Hacking wiiu 3.0 firmware

so new at this. i would like to be able to run homebrew on this wiiu i havent up dated in over a year. not to sure on how to go about it as all the guides ive read are for 5.51 or 5.5.2. ive tried to find out how to update to 5.5.1 or .2 but im scared to log on line and the update might be higher than those. any help would be awesome tia :)

No worries bro, just update to the latest firmware and follow the guide that others have posted. All will be well!

so got it updated and able to run cfw. but to get to the web exploit through stupiid is almost impossible, ive cleared the data in the browser and didnt help. the odd thing is my other wiiu boots at most after the second try.. any input would be a huge help.

Yeah, install HaxChi and forget about browserhax

Yes, you have to purchase a DS VC game to install and use Haxchi. Depending on how often you plan on launching homebrew, you don't need to install Haxchi. If you plan on launching homebrew and CFW a lot, then Haxchi is recommended. If you plan on using homebrew a couple of times to install Wii U games, for example, then Haxchi isn't really needed.
