Hacking WiiSXR Blackscreen when started from Wii U forwarder

hey folks,

I have Wii U forwarder for WiiSXR. When i go to start it up, I get a black screen. I created the forwarder with the VC inject script on here. What could be my problem?

There's a thread already about Wii VC injections, no need to open a new one.

Also install your forwarder to Wii U system memory? We can't help you if don't detail your problem past the "doesn't work".

Black screen from forwarder is usually Nintendont related. Missing needed files in the root of SD maybe?

He is trying to run WiiSXR PSX emulator

sorry for the sparse reply. I have the latest version of wiisxr on my sd card. I then used the vc inject script and some banners from the banner thread and created the WUP installer folder. I then installed it to NAND with WUP installer GX 2. Wiisxr goes to black screen after being launched.

What's the path to wiisxr in your sd card?

i have not tried because my vWii has not been hacked. i was hoping to use the vc inject method without modding my vWii.

so far, i have managed to get nintendont working with GCN games and Wii games working but using the VC inject method (installed the twin snakes and okami as a test)

update: it turns out that creating a forwarder with the wiisxr boot.dol is not the way to go, there is someone on the vc inject thread that provided a working forwarder. This now allows WiiSXR to boot properly but Final Fantasy VII froze at my first battle. Will keep testing.

You need set interpeter mode for FFVII

it was set to interpreter, but i changed bios from 'HLE' to 'SD' and it fixed the issue.

Ive tried it also and got the same issue. Could someone explain how you inject it properly? Is the clock speed already increased in the forwarder? i dont like the style of the forwarder :s
